EVENTS THAT CREATE APPROACHABLE OPPORTUNITIES: The Culinary Challenge Recap

The Culinary Challenge Recap

Are you looking for an event that is different than the norm? Something different than the traditional  dinner on a date or with friends?  Well "The Culinary Challenge" hosted by Revive CAM was the place where you should have been February 12, 2012.  This was an afternoon of interactive activities provided by yours truly, as well as, a cooking experience led by two top chef's - Ray Rattary and Floyd Wilson.  Two groups competed against each other for the title of "Best Dish!" A volunteer from each team picked out ingredients from a hat and the group was required to make a dish using all the ingredients pulled from the hat.  They were judged on taste, presentation, creativity & use of ingredients.  I had fun taking pictures, participating and judging the dishes.  I will definitely attend another Revive CAM networking event in the future.

What made it an event that created an approachable opportunity?

  • The approach2link interactive activities broke the ice between strangers and allowed for the attendees to warm up to each other.  This helped the cohesiveness of the groups when it was time to work together to make a dish.
  • There were opportunities to network.  I personally exchanged my contact information with a number of people that were in attendance.

We also had the pleasure of devouring some desserts
